“Moulin Rouge” (Red Mill) is a classic cabaret in Paris, built in 1889, one of the attractions of the French capital. Located on Boulevard Clichy, near Place Pigalle.
The name of the cabaret was given by a wooden mill with red wings, created by the decorator Leon-Adolphe Villette. The red color of the wings hinted at the red light district
