    *Forsvik is one of Sweden's oldest documented industrial sites. The mill was named 2008 Industrial Memorial of the Year for its long-term efforts to preserve & develop the industrial site. An exhibition provides a glimpse of the Forsvik depicted in Jan Guillou's novels about the medieval knight, Arn Magnusson.

    Glassblower from Glasriket* in the workshop that uses the energy of the water wheel.

    Additional:

    *The concentration of glass works to the southeast corner of Smaland (historical province in southern Sweden), Glasriket, was the result of an industrial policy pursued in the 1700's & 1800's. Initially, glassware for everyday use was produced in bulk, but at the end of the 1800's, art glassware for an international market was introduced into production.

    Avesta is an old ironworks that today is an award-winning immersive museum that offers unique experiences & impressions. Here the visitors is greeted by an exciting mix of history, art & technology in an interactive exhibition about the history of industry.

    Textile mill-factory in Jonsered*

    Additional:

    *Jonsered - is a locality situated in Partille Municipality, Västra Götaland County, Sweden with 930 inhabitants in 2010.

    Jonsered is an old, traditional industrial community by the Säve river outside Gothenburg in Sweden. Jonsered's factories were established here in 1834. By the 1880s the manufacture of wood-processing machinery had started, leading towards the products Jonsered manufactures today. The manufacturer Jonsered (now a brand of Electrolux) once had plants here.

    The factory site that once belonged to Jonsered's factories is now a mix of modern business & traditional handicraft. The factory (on the stamp) was started in the 1830's to produce textile.

    Forge Mill in Mackmyra*.

    Mackmyra, a suburb of Gävle (city in Sweden, the seat of Gävle Municipality and the capital of Gävleborg County).

    Mackmyra Work's history stretches back to a tilt hammer in the 1500's that was owned by the farmers of the district. A traditional industrial environment, including a smithy, remains of the ironworks are seen in the traditional industrial environment, which includes a smithy.
